The Australasian Enterprise Data Management Conference is the only specialist data management conference in Australasia and provides a regional forum for sharing experiences, best practices and the latest thinking about managing data and information at the enterprise level. Topics covered include:

  • Data governance
  • Data management maturity assessment
  • Data monetization
  • Data quality
  • Data storytelling
  • Measuring the value of data management

 The programme includes a wide variety of session formats, including keynote presentations, regular presentations, showcase sessions (best practice case studies), a data monetization café (an interactive session where participants will learn to apply concepts of data monetization to their own data), panel discussions, lightning talks and half-day and full day workshops. The early bird rate is available until September 19, 2015 and you can register on-line here.

The conference is conducted in partnership with the Australian Computer Society (ACS), Data Management Association (DAMA), Data Governance Professionals Organization (DGPO), International Association of Information and Data Quality (IAIDQ), Institute of Information Management (IIM) and the Institute of IT Professionals NZ (IITP).

Haleigh Wright

Haleigh Wright is the Assistant to the Publisher of The Data Administration Newsletter (TDAN.com). Haleigh graduated from The University of Pittsburgh with a degree in Scientific Computing in 2015, and she is now pursuing her PhD in Computer Science at the University of California, Santa Barbara where she is an National Science Foundation IGERT Network Science Trainee. Her research interests include computational sustainability, data analysis, data security and privacy, network science, and cryptography. After Haleigh concludes her studies, she plans to enter Industry, with particular interest in entrepreneurial ventures.
