Ongoing education is critical to maintain data management skills. Together with Wilshire Associates, DAMA is co-sponsoring the Enterprise Data World. It is the most comprehensive educational conference in our field. The conference features a large number of presentations and case studies that are directly applicable to your current projects. You can network with experts in the field who can provide advice on some of your current sticking points. Many of the technical presentations provide specific techniques for lowering costs, streamlining processes, or dealing with governance issues. If you need current information for projects such as SOA, MDM, Data Integration, Semantics, Metadata, then Enterprise Data World an opportunity to cover all those topics in one place.

By Members, For Members – The Sounding Board
One of DAMA International’s objectives is to help DRM/IRM practitioners by educating corporate management, demonstrating how information and data asset management affects corporate performance. The challenge we have is finding the most effective way to achieve this goal.
We have decided to run a series of small surveys to gather information from you about the most effective touchpoints for us to leverage to educate your corporate management. Each of these surveys is design to be small and highly focused.
The first survey only 3 questions:
- What is the primary industry for your company?
- What are one or two of the publications that your technology managers read on a regular basis?
- What are one or two of the publications that your business managers read on a regular basis?
