DAMA International News Update: DMBOK, CDMP, Data Dictionary 2nd Edition and LinkedIn Groups

The DAMA Dictionary of Data Management 2nd Edition, CD-ROM is Now Available.  The DAMA Dictionary second edition was introduced earlier this year at DAMA’s Enterprise Data World. The dictionary has over 2000 items.

DAMA International 2012-2013 Board of Directors Elections November 2011

Ballots have been distributed for the Board of Directors office position elections this year. The DAMA chapters vote is for officers on the DAMA International Board of Directors for the term 2012-2014 (two years). Chapter presidents may consult their boards and/or membership before casting the chapter’s ballot, but the actual voting is performed by the chapter president.  NOTE: EACH CHAPTER IS GRANTED ONE – AND ONLY ONE – VOTE per DAMA International office.

Voting is open when this ballot is released to the chapter presidents via email.  Voting will be closed as of 5 PM Pacific Time on November 30, 2011.  Each chapter president should return a completed ballot by the closing date and time to the attention of the Election Committee at ElectionCommittee@dama.org, comprised of the DAMA International Ethics Officer, DAMA International President, and the current Presidents’ Council Chair.  Ballots received after the deadline will not be included in the tally. Announcement of the winners of offices will be via email and the DAMA I website by Friday, December 4, 2011.  Ballots will be counted by the Election Committee.
