With the July 2016 issue of TDAN.com, we celebrate our first year with the new format and new relationships. More than a year ago I started working with DATAVERSITY to redesign the website and newsletter and convert more than seventeen years of content from the old format into the new. Thank you Tony Shaw, Shannon Kempe, and the rest of my friends at DV for guiding me through the transition and the support you provide today.
So here we are …
One year older and hopefully one year wiser. It is time to get feedback from you (the readers) on what you think of the new TDAN.com. I would be grateful if you would take a moment to complete a short questionnaire about TDAN.com that will be used to assist me in selecting the subject matter for new content and direction.

A special thanks goes to my assistant, Haleigh Wright (@Ms_data), without whom it would be near-impossible to get each monthly issue published on time. I would also like to thank the authors that allow me to publish their materials – including the quarterly columnists and bloggers. And last but not least – a special thanks goes out to all of the TDAN.com readers. You are the reason why this publication is so important to me!
I first published TDAN.com using just Microsoft FrontPage and FTP in 1997 when the web was young and data management began playing a key role in my life. The publication has gone through many changes over the years leading to the design you see today. I have relished in the journey.
In 2017, TDAN.com will celebrate its twentieth anniversary. The questionnaire mentioned above asks some open ended questions on how you would like to see us celebrate that milestone. Please take a few moments and answer my questions. I would love to hear from you.
